Residents in six neighborhoods north of Puerto Vallarta will be without water today, Thursday, September 18, due to connection work on new lines for a private housing development.
The affected areas include the Las Mojoneras delegation, Campestre Las Cañadas, Sendero de Luna, Colinas de la Bahía, Villas Universidad, and Sendero de Las Galeanas. Other nearby subdivisions may also experience low water pressure throughout the day.
The work will take place on Tabaquillo Street, near the Niños Héroes neighborhood in Ixtapa and the Primavera subdivision, where crews will connect service to the Blossom development by the Vivento real estate company.
SEAPAL Vallarta, the municipal water utility, reported that the outage will begin at 9:00 a.m. and could last until 10:00 p.m. the same day. Although SEAPAL is monitoring the situation, the project is being carried out by a private company.
Authorities are urging residents to prepare by storing water in advance, avoiding waste, and using supplies carefully during the shutdown.
