Federal and municipal forces have arrested two individuals in Puerto Vallarta who were wanted by the United States government on charges of fentanyl trafficking and weapons possession, according to Mexico’s Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) Omar GarcĂa Harfuch.
The suspects, identified as Aaron “N”, 51, and Thoa “N”, 45, were taken into custody following coordinated surveillance and investigation work between security agencies. Both individuals face extradition orders from the US government.
The operation involved multiple Mexican agencies, including:
– The Secretary of the Navy (Semar)
– The Secretary of National Defense (Sedena)
– The Attorney General’s Office (FGR)
– The National Guard (GN)
– Puerto Vallarta Municipal Police
After their arrest, the suspects were informed of their constitutional rights and transferred to the relevant public prosecutor, who will determine next steps in their legal proceedings.
