The Municipal Government of Puerto Vallarta announced a Christmas parade that will be held on December 13, as well as the complete program of the 2023 Christmas Festival.

The directors of Tourism, the Vallartense Institute of Culture, and the head of Municipal Markets, Christian Cázares Preciado, Luis Escoto, and Cecilio López Fernández, respectively, are involved in the planning.

  • December 9 – There will be the lighting of the Christmas tree, and there will be fireworks, accompanied by Christmas carols from the “Alas” singing school on the boardwalk.
  • December 10 – “Cuéntame una Navidad” will be presented with Fabiola Mantecón, a Christmas canticorum, and the Kayumari folkloric ballet.
  • December 11 – The festivities move to the La Lija Cultural Center, where there will be a Christmas festival.
  • December 13 – The Christmas parade will take place at 5 pm, which will begin at the Sheraton Hotel, and end at the Río Cuale Market. So far, there are 30 floats, but companies that want to be participate can still join.
  • December 16 – Little gymnasts from “Sikanda” will give a presentation at Los Arcos del Malecón. Later, attendees will enjoy the Christmas show “Locos por la rumba” and Christmas carols.
  • December 23 – there will be a dog contest with Christmas costumes and mariachi.
  • December 24 – There will be a Christmas walk, and an event to receive baby Jesus.
  • December 31 – To welcome the new year, musical performances will be given by Los Tres del Ranchito, mariachi, and Komando MR, in addition to the countdown to welcome 2024 with a pyromusical show.
