District Council 5 of the Electoral and Citizen Participation Institute (IEPC) officials have published the preliminary results of the Sunday, June 6th elections for Puerto Vallarta mayor, confirming the victory of Morena’s candidate Luis Michel Rodríguez, with 25,780 votes.
Second place went to Lupita Guerrero of the Citizen Movement (CM) with 22,552 votes, and third place went to Luis Munguía of the Green Party with 20,531.
The fourth place went to Marina De Los Santos of the from Hagamos party with 2,551, and fifth position went to Idalia González de León with 2,060.
The remaining candidate results are as follows.
- PRI candidate, Paola Azeneth Topete Villalvazo, with 1,113 votes
- Miriam Elizabeth Miramontes Zepeda, from Futuro, with 901
- Miguel Ángel Yerena Ruiz, with 836
- Rocky Nik Santana Morales, from the Social Encounter Party, with 707
- Andrea Pelayo Zepeda, from Fuerza Por México, with 647
- Otoniel Barragán Espinoza, with 495, and
- Edith Zarazúa Elizalde, from the PT, with 211 votes.
