Today (Friday, July 21) is a historic day for Jalisco and the AMPI, today the real estate law was approved that seeks to regulate and professionalize our sector.
As service providers we have asked the congress of the state to regulate Jalisco’s real estate advisors, as they have recently increased the number of property frauds, many of them for ignorance and lack of preparation, others by people pretending to be “real estate advisors” and they have no idea of the preparation that our profession entails. Last and the most important for several criminals who play with the heritage of the people of Jalisco.
To avoid fraud and strengthen our real estate industry, this law will generate a Single Standard in which you can check whether the real estate adviser serving the citizen is accredited, suspended for malpractice, or if they do not meet the requirements to provide the service.
This law will require real estate service providers to train, for example, real estate advisors must accredit 120 hours of training and in case of renewal 60 hours.
This is why we, as an association, are very happy with this great decision that the congress of the state has taken, always supported by the Deputies Gabriela Cárdenas and Mirza Flores.
With this law we take a big step to be able to protect the homes of the citizens of Jalisco.
With care:
Lic. Mario Romo Alarcon
President of the Board of Directors AMPI Guadalajara A.C.
