The Jalisco Transportation Secretariat reported that it will file a complaint against Roberto Padilla for cheating drivers on the InDriver digital platform by selling them fake holograms for 700 pesos month, in addition to charging them 200 pesos more for their installation.

The Secretary of Transportation of Jalisco reiterated that the drivers of this platform are not authorized to operate in Puerto Vallarta.

The InDriver drivers demonstrated this Tuesday and Wednesday for the operations the secretariat is maintaining against them, partially closing the central lanes of the Las Juntas intersection and those of Grandes Lagos Avenue.

The secretariat pointed out that the silver hologram with which they identify each other as a group is not official, and therefore does not imply legal authorization to provide the platform service.

The foregoing, they affirm, was misinterpreted and manipulated by the alleged leader, Roberto Padilla, who has deceived drivers into believing that th hologram is official.

It was reported that monitoring of all forms of public transport, including platform drivers, will continue, and that the vehicles that belong to this or any other unauthorized platform will be taken out of circulation.

In addition to this, the Jalisco Transportation Secretariat confirmed that the InDriver company does not meet the requirements to obtain its registration. Drivers must seek other authorized ways to provide the service, and requests the users of these platforms, that for their safety, only use the services of the authorized ones, whose units carry a QR code, through which data of the driver, the vehicle, and the company itself can be identified.
