There will be intermittent closures in the center of Puerto Vallarta for the mountain ultra marathon to be held this weekend, since the boardwalk will be a hydration point for the 100, 30, and 20 kilometer races.
Starting this week, several tents began to be installed on the Puerto Vallarta boardwalk, which will remain throughout the weekend due to the sporting event.
The director of Municipal Tourism, Christian Preciado Cázares, acknowledged that there will be intermittent closures in the city center, but only for a few minutes when the runners pass, so motorists will have to wait during that time. But all the streets will be open
Puerto Vallarta was chosen to host the second edition of the trail running circuit in the UTMB World Series, in which there will be three circuits: one of 100 kilometers, another of 30 kilometers, and one more than 20 kilometers, races that will mainly go through the Vallarta mountains.
In addition to the race, there will also be a series of conferences in Lázaro Cárdenas Park. The event is free.
