Approximately 3,000 drivers of the inDriver application kept the central lanes of the Las Juntas intersection partially closed yesterday.

Despite the fact that only the central median lanes were closed, in this part of the Las Juntas intersection, traffic flow is complicated both from the entrance to Puerto Vallarta and exit toward Bahía de Banderas.

Personnel of the municipal, navy, and state police stood by without intervening, while the transit police did their best to try to speed up traffic flow in the area.

The demonstrating drivers said that no authority approached them to discuss the status of their application to operate inside Puerto Vallarta, nor to arrange for a dialogue with Jalisco Mobility Commander Gerardo Villa to deal with the pressure exerted by state police on the unauthorized drivers. Four vehicles have, reportedly, already been impounded.
