The rotation of 67 judges in Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta in civil, commercial, family, and criminal matters is an action that seeks to end the so-called preserves of power, and that is positive for the administration of justice, said Jalisco Governor, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez.
From his point of view, changing the assignment of judges can be considered as an “historical decision by laying the foundations for a comprehensive reconstruction process that can break with all the accumulation of interests generated around the decision-making of judicial power. It is a step that shows the commitment of this power for its reconstruction to guarantee the delivery of justice in an impartial manner for Jalisco.”
“I want to congratulate you, and extend my appreciation,” said Alfaro, publicly acknowledging the work done by the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Ricardo Suro Esteves, and the members of the Judicial Council for the decision taken as the courts reconvene after four months of hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
