To promote the well-being of Puerto Vallarta residents, the administration of Luis Munguía González, through the Health Promotion Directorate, will host a Health Day on Wednesday, March 26. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the UMA esplanade and training room (3rd floor), offering free, comprehensive, and preventive medical services to the public.
Local health institutions will provide a range of services focused on promotion, prevention, and medical care. The Health Promotion Directorate will conduct oral health activities, while the COMUSIDA committee will offer screenings for HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis to support sexually transmitted disease prevention efforts.
IMSS Family Clinic 170 will also participate, operating a vaccination center where attendees can receive vaccines for influenza, pneumococcus, tetanus and diphtheria (TD), human papillomavirus (HPV), and Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis). The full basic vaccination schedule for children under five will also be available, ensuring immunization for both children and adults.
Additionally, Dr. Tucán’s Mobile Clinic will be on-site, offering general medical consultations, dental services, nutritional guidance, and pharmacy support, providing free medications as needed.
