Even though a week of December has already passed, the Municipal Government of Puerto Vallarta has still not put up Christmas decorations on the malecón, and the tree has been installed for days without being decorated.

The director of Municipal Tourism, Christian Cázares Preciado, said that the Christmas decorations were delayed because the giant catrina was not removed until the end of November, at the request of restaurateurs.

However, visitors are asking about the lack of decorations in the center of the tourist area, where, for days they have been installing a large Christmas tree without decorating it. The lighting is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday.

The only decorated place is the kiosk in the main square, where food stalls are currently being set up for the Guadalupana Festival.
