The Health Workgroup, as part of the Jalisco State Government, has approved the opening of bars and clubs to a capacity of 25% (one person for every 4 square meters) until 3 am.

In addition, it was announced that Christmas fairs and tianguis, mobile mechanical games, and photography businesses with Christmas characters, may also operate.

According to the state government through a statement, all these businesses must comply with all health protocols to prevent the spread of infections by Covid-19. Dancing will not be permitted, tables must be 1.5 meters apart, and there may not be groups of more than 6 people.

Ventilation systems with natural air injection should be used, and businesses must collaborate in the application of random serological tests supervised by the State health authorities.

In the case of Christmas tianguis, the protocols validated by the Jalisco Health Secretariat must be applied, such as filters at the entrances. and the mandatory use of face masks.

Hotels may increase room occupancy to 75% of total capacity. Common areas in closed spaces must have a maximum capacity of 25% of the useful surface, while common areas in open spaces must have a maximum capacity of 50% of the useful surface.

The capacity of restaurants must be a maximum of 50%, or the use of every other table.

In the case of mobile amusement rides, they may operate if they have the municipal authorization of the space allocation and distribution plan for each attraction. People from vulnerable groups, including those over 60 years old, will not be able to participate. If people are waiting, single lines must be used with a distance of at least 1.5 meters.

At this time the operation of photographs with Christmas characters in squares is authorized, but people from vulnerable groups, including people over 60 years old, will not be able to participate. Customers must sit at a distance not less than one meter from the character, and there must be objects or barriers between them.

In the case of parking lots, the operating capacity is increased to a maximum of 50%, while ice rinks will be able to serve minors only in private classes of no more than four people.

Patron saint festivities remain suspended.

Municipal governments have the power to carry out routine surveillance and inspection operations to ensure the correct and continuous execution of the protocols, maintaining security.
