President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) presented his Declaration of Assets and Interests, which shows that he is already receiving the pension for older adults that was created in his government, which began on December 1 of 2018.
The declaration shows that AMLO earned a salary of 1,697,081 pesos ($96,443 USD) last year as president of Mexico, with an increase of 68,364 pesos ($3,885 USD) compared to the previous year.
The document also indicates that he also received 19,310 pesos ($1,097 USD) for the Senior Adult Pension program.
Adding his salary as president and the pension, AMLO received 1,716,391 pesos ($97,540 USD) last year.
He reported that he does not own any vehicle, does not have movable and immovable property, nor did he obtain any financial refund last year.
He reported having two bank accounts, one for payroll at Afirme Grupo Financiero and another at Banorte.
He also reported having a savings account at Banco del Bienestar, a bank that he created during his government, in addition to having his account at Pensionissste.
