Residents of the Versailles neighborhood, north of Puerto Vallarta, are fed up after nearly a year of reporting two abandoned vehicles that have turned into magnets for crime and pollution.

The two white and blue pickup trucks, originally parked neatly rear-to-rear, now sit covered in dust, stripped by vandals, and used as makeshift shelters. Despite multiple reports to Municipal Transit, no action has been taken. Neighbors have identified the owner as the proprietor of the Tarantinos restaurant located two blocks away. Although he reportedly promised to remove the trucks, they remain untouched.

The vehicles are located at the corner of Hamburg and Liverpool streets, near the Versalles Hospital, condominium complexes, and a cluster of restaurants. According to residents, the owner initially left them there for repairs but never returned, allowing vandals to dismantle the vehicles and squatters to take over.

Concerned residents and local business owners have raised their voices through CPS Noticias-Tribuna de la Bahía’s Citizen Complaints channel, urging the authorities to either locate the owner or have the vehicles towed and the area cleaned up to restore safety and order.
