Residents of the Palmar del Progreso and Laguna del Valle neighborhoods have once again denounced the recurring presence of stray horses and cows roaming the streets, raising concerns over sanitation, safety, and road hazards.
According to resident reports, the animals frequently leave waste on public roads, often in front of homes, creating unsanitary conditions. Neighbors say the problem is especially troublesome in poorly lit areas, where early morning commuters sometimes step in the waste without noticing.
Beyond cleanliness, residents warn that the loose animals also pose a traffic hazard, as they often appear suddenly on the streets and risk causing accidents.
“This isn’t the first time the issue has been reported. Complaints have been made repeatedly, but the situation hasn’t changed,” said concerned neighbors, urging local authorities to step in and resolve the problem to restore safety and peace to the community.
