The regional coordination of Citizen Protection and Firefighters of Nayarit announced around 7:30 pm yesterday that access to the beaches of Nuevo Vallarta is prohibited until further notice because of the sighting of crocodiles wandering around the area.
Due to the above, a purple flag has been raised on the beach indicating the presence of harmful fauna in the sea, and the suspension of aquatic activities.
