On Tuesday, July 26, like every year, the traditional paseadas (rides) of the Las Palmas delegation will be taking place in the plain of La Palma sola, which is ready to receive thousands of people.

After 2 years’ suspension because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the operation is ready to ensure that it will be a quiet family event.

The authorities said that there will be checkpoints and search points for objects that may be dangerous, such as knives, machetes, glass containers, and firearms, which will be collected and delivered to the delegation so that people can claim them.

At least 3,000 people are expected, taking into account the absence of the event for 2 years.

With more than 80 years of tradition, the parades are an icon of the most remote delegation in the urban area, and attract people from all over the region.
