A crocodile more than three meters long was caught by Green Patrol personnel of the Puerto Vallarta Citizen Security Police in a small lagoon in a brickyard in the Guadalupe Victoria neighborhood, a few steps from the International Convention Center (CIC).

According to a statement, the 3.5-meter female crocodile, approximately 50 years old was captured, and given registration number 562.

Green Patrol Commander Isaac Rodríguez, in coordination with elements of Municipal Ecology, determined that the animal was in good health. After being assessed by the biologist, it was released in the Ameca River.
